Our experience with the BinTac T9
What immediately struck the Shogun team when picking up this air rifle is the well-thought-out construction. The fully aluminium housing feels exceptionally solid, whilst the weight of 3.6 kg is surprisingly well balanced. The absence of a traditional stock makes this air rifle extra compact. The ergonomic pistol grip sits comfortably in the hand and provides excellent control during aiming and shooting.
Technology, performance and variants
This PCP system operates with a fill pressure of up to 310 bar (4500 PSI) and features an air reservoir of 250cc. The BinTac T9 has a total length of 41 cm, a barrel length of 20 cm and a magazine capacity of 8 shots. The model is available in caliber 9mm/.35 with 135 Joules and a muzzle velocity of up to 740 FPS (226 MPS) with 82 grain projectiles. The semi-automatic firing mechanism with single action trigger ensures rapid follow-up shots. Use and operation
The operation of this air-powered weapon is via a practical side lever for cocking. The Picatinny rail on top provides ample space for mounting your favourite optic. An important point of attention: when using a suppressor, the semi-automatic mode does not function optimally. For the best performance in semi-auto mode, we recommend using specific 9mm slugs. The right-handed design ensures natural operation for most shooters.
