Our experience with the Megalodon 15''

Upon first contact with this air rifle, the well-thought-out design is immediately apparent. With a weight of 3.59 kilograms, the frame feels indestructible, yet thanks to the ergonomic pistol grip it remains surprisingly manageable. The pump-action works more smoothly than expected for such a powerful system. The practical pressure gauge on the left side is an excellent addition in particular – you can immediately see how much pressure remains in the cylinders.

Technology, performance and variants

This PCP air rifle derives its impressive power from a maximum fill pressure of 310 bar. The rifle has a magazine capacity of 8 rounds, a 22mm Picatinny top rail and is supplied with mounting rings. The Megalodon is available in various calibers: 9mm/.35 (214 joules), 11.6mm/.457 (472 joules), 12.6mm/.50 (515 joules), 12.95mm/.51 (515 joules) and 14.73mm/.58 (515 joules). Use and operation

The operation of this air rifle is surprisingly intuitive for such a powerful system. You operate the pump-action with one hand whilst holding the rifle stable with the other – the diagonal grooves on the pump provide extra grip. The single action trigger system ensures a predictable and consistent trigger pull with every shot. On top you'll find a 22mm Picatinny rail for your favourite rifle scope, and the short accessory rail underneath is perfect for a bipod or grip.
