Our experience with the Gamo Delta Fox GT
What immediately struck the Shogun team about this air rifle is the natural balance thanks to the well-designed polymer construction. With a weight of only 2.1 kilograms, the air rifle sits comfortably in the hand without causing fatigue. The smooth break barrel action and the reliable single-shot loading system make this a user-friendly model that performs consistently at distances up to 20 metres.
Technology, performance and variants
This classic break barrel system delivers a power output of 7.5 joules in the popular 4.5mm caliber. The 94 cm long air rifle has no muzzle end and operates with a single-shot loading system. The single action trigger system ensures a predictable release, whilst the 11mm dovetail rail accommodates the supplied rifle scope or other optics of your choice. Curious about all the technical details? You'll find them under the heading 'More information' on this page.
Use and operation
This air rifle is equipped with the Anti-Bear Trap safety catch that prevents the barrel from unexpectedly snapping shut during loading. The adjustable front sight and rear sight make it possible to shoot accurately even without a rifle scope. The polymer stock material is suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters and the noise level remains acceptable for use in residential areas.
